GreenTech's work on construction of integrated bus and railway terminal at Makumbura interchange, which is a part of the Outer Circular Highway Project, resulted in the opening of the Makumbura Multi-modal center to the public on 31st March 2019.
GreenTech Egis International Joint Venture recently initiated work for the Second Integrated Road Investment Programme. Services include Project Implementation including Construction Supervision, Contract Management and Other Implementation Activities in the Eastern Province (PIC-05).
Under Ministry of Megapolis and Western Development, this project aims to achieve objectives in the traffic master plan developed for Kandy, by integrating bus terminal and railway station operation within one facility and introducing a modern IT based terminal.
"Strategic Social Assessment (SSA) Programme for Kelani, Mundeni Aru, Attanagalu Oya and Mahaweli basins" under the World Bank funded Climate Resilience Improvement Project" aims to provide an understanding of cumulative impacts on each river basin at the strategic level, while considering natural disasters and all developments that are ongoing and are planned. SSA will also recommend social safeguard mitigation measures relevant to each basin.
GreenTech was recently awarded the contract for the 'Detailed Design of Anuradhapura Integrated Urban Development Project of the World Bank funded Strategic Cities Development Project. The project involves the development of an integrated development plan for the UNESCO world heritage site of Anuradhapura.
Newest addition to our Seychelles portfolio and under EU/UNDP GCCA+ project, project objectives are to increase coastal and flood protection in vulnerable areas of La Digue. Work carried out so far constitutes of 2D resistivity survey, establishing 14 boreholes, setting up a saltwater monitoring network, continued monitoring and designing of two dykes.
For the 'Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) study for the Proposed 20MW Seethawaka Ganga Hydro Power Project' implemented by the Ceylon Electricity Board, we have carried out evaluation of alternatives for 03 dam locations and initiation of preparation of the EIA work scope. We've undertaken works for gathering, reviewing and synthesizing data and assessing adverse and positive impacts on the existing environment, and propose mitigatory measures for nullifying these adverse effects to the most optimum degree possible.
GreenTech was recently awarded the contract for the design and supervision works of the Western province component of the ADB funded Local Government Sector Enhancement Project. This is in addition to the 3 other contracts for the Uva, Central and Sabaragamuwa Provinces it is currently overseeing.

Atkins UK, in association with GreenTech was awarded the consultancy contract for this major component under the World Bank funded CRIP Project. The Project covers all of the ten major river basins in Sri Lanka for which flood and drought risk assessment along with risk mitigation investment plans will be developed to improve climate resilience in the country.
